Waters General Manager, Clinical Business Americas in Milford, Massachusetts
With the growth in precision medicine, it is an exciting time for LC-MS in clinical diagnostics. For 10+ years, PCR-NGS techniques have been widely used for clinical diagnostics. Clinicians now want a real-time understanding of disease states, requiring a more complete picture of proteins, lipids, and steroids. LC-MS based assays are critical to provide this level of insight with their analytical specificity, sensitivity, and capacity to analyze simultaneously multiple analytes.
Our vision is for Waters to lead the continued broad-based adoption of LC-MS. Waters today has the leading LC-MS IVD portfolio. This will be accelerated by continued innovation including new pioneering LC-MS systems, improved ease of use, as well as novel commercial assays.
Reporting to the Vice President of Commercial, Global Clinical Business Unit, this position will join a passionate, agile team to develop innovative solutions to address high unmet needs and establish Waters as the leader in clinical LC-MS diagnostics markets. This position is based in Milford, Massachusetts with travel.
Responsible for the Clinical Business P&L for US, Canada and Latin Americas.
Responsible for delivering Annual Operating Plan (AOP), setting territory targets, and recommending incentive plans.
Lead Americas go-to-market strategy including sales, market segmentation, target and value proposition, marketing strategy and execution, and clinical customer service and application support.
Develop deep understanding of Americas clinical and forensic markets and key competitor strategies. Build strong institutional knowledge across the territories. Stay up-to-date on industry trends.
Build and develop a high performing clinical team, optimizing the organization structure to drive sustainable growth.
Lead the development of KOL strategy for Americas clinical business and maintain KOL relationships.
Establish Key Account Management process. Meet regularly with key customers and industry stakeholders. Partner with the field teams to capture VOC and determine customer needs in key markets.
Responsible for Americas channel strategy and channel management of clinical business.
Work closely with compliance and legal teams to ensure business compliance.
Qualifications:
Minimum BS in Technology or Business field. MBA preferred.
10+ years of experience in clinical diagnostics market
5+ years in commercial P&L roles.
Ability to effectively influence at the executive level and within peer group
Strong leadership skills required
