About The Role

The Business Development Representative (BDR) role at Connected2Fiber is a critical hire, as it significantly contributes to the growth in sales pipeline. The BDR hire will be the first point of contact with prospective customers and is responsible for qualifying their level of interest and then setting up follow on discussions between them and outside sales directors in order to progress the opportunity. This important role also includes a graduation path to outside sales, leadership roles, and opportunities within other departments of Connected2Fiber. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Timely and aggressive sales follow up on marketing-generated leads from a variety of channels (e.g. events, webinars, digital campaigns, etc.) with the objective in mind of qualifying the lead and subsequently booking a first meeting with an outside sales director

  • Proactive sales outreach to targeted accounts and contacts in order to generate interest from and nurture high-priority prospects

  • Driving attendance to Connected2Fiber tradeshows and events while also occasionally attending these events as a representative of the company

  • Collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams on account strategy, demand generation activities and how to improve lead conversions

  • Ensuring all customer records are properly maintained and up-to-date in Connected2Fiber?s CRM

    What We?re Looking For In A Candidate

  • 0-2 years of work experience in a business development representative or a customer-facing role

  • Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to learn concepts quickly

  • Very driven, proactive and positive attitude with the desire to accomplish, learn and grow

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Self-starter

  • Willingness and flexibility to undertake additional responsibilities as they present themselves
