This position can be remote, work-from-home, and based anywhere within the United States.

What Product or Services Marketing contributes to Cardinal Health

Product or Services Marketing teams are responsible for defining the product and service offering. They work to build market strategy, life-cycle-management, customer need identification, market research, positioning, promotion, and branding for the product lines they create.


  • Identifies and remains current on market trends.
  • Determines product and service lifecycle implications and makes recommendations to maintain market competitiveness and to achieve sustainable economic success.
  • Understands methods available to execute primary customer research that are necessary to drive portfolio decisions.
  • Exhibits an ability to translate market and customer needs into clearly defined goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics to drive sales and profitability for the business.
  • Utilizes market research (primary and secondary) to identify market opportunities.
  • Takes action by implementing and managing projects that address unmet customer needs.
  • Accountable for gaining and driving cross-functional support from all stakeholders.
  • Builds business plans including the necessary pro-forma.
  • Identifies markets and channels appropriate to the sale of their portfolio and collaborates with regional marketing teams in these markets to drive sales.
  • Demonstrates strong financial acumen and logical decision making in the general business environment.
  • Understands and can demonstrate sound thought processes as it relates to pricing, deal structure and assessing financial implications.
  • Works effectively leading cross functional groups including but not limited to R&D, quality, regulatory, manufacturing, procurement, communications, operations, and sales.


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in related field, preferred.
  • A Covid-19 vaccination or a legitimate accommodation is required in order to be employed in this position.
