Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Companies (JJMDC) Strategic Customer Group (SCG) is recruiting for a Senior Marketing Manager, Pipeline Management & Innovation, JJMDC Reprocessing. The preference is for the position to be based in Somerville, NJ with consideration given for Plymouth MN; Raynham, MA; Cincinnati, OH; West Chester, PA; or Warsaw, IN. Domestic travel up to 25% is required for this position.

The Sr. Manager, Pipeline Management & Innovation is responsible for identifying new RPO product development opportunities and new business opportunities within alternative channels including the ASC and Animal Health markets. In addition, candidate will help manage RPO pipeline across JJMDC’s. He/she will also be responsible for the management of strategies and solutions that will maximize customer value, market competitiveness and deliver business objectives. You will be responsible for driving alignment and execution of cross functional partners to these plans and tactics. In addition, he/she will also work closely with RPO franchise marketing leads to help in the overall achievement of business goals and objectives across JJMDC.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
US commercial lead for NPD, working closely with Global Strategic Marketing partners to shape the future growth plans/market creation of RPO products
Identify strategies and executable plans to drive our BluFlex® Vascular Compression program.
Engage with the field sales organizations in delivery of new marketing content and business strategy.
Deliver on RPO sales and forecasts based on brand strategies, marketing programs and corporate operational objectives.
Create and execute promotional programs
Work across all elements of the marketing mix and uses appropriate channels of communication (brand strategy, marketing planning and execution, pricing, launch excellence, procedural selling)
Collaborate with Ethicon, BWI, and DPS franchise Marketing to develop a portfolio sales approach for RPO product portfolios
Monitor and control budget to access promotional effectiveness
Work productively with external agencies and ensure completion of market analysis and monitors competitive activity.
Conduct assessments on new market opportunities through financial modeling and gap analysis
Build network with key opinion leaders and monitors industry developments impacting business
Partner closely with Field Sales leadership and critical internal stakeholders including Field Sales, Global Business Insights, Strategic Customer Group, Commercial Operations, Global Education Solutions, & all support functions (IT, Finance, Supply Chain) to develop and execute defined Business Plan.
Act as a Chief of Staff and provide support to the Sr. Director of Sales/Marketing, JJMDC Reprocessing and other cross-functional leaders.

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA preferred
A minimum 8 years relevant business experience with 3 years marketing or related experience is required
Medical Device or healthcare industry knowledge is strongly preferred
Knowledge of General Surgery is strong preferred
25% overnight domestic travel may be required
Prior experience influencing hospital stakeholders is preferred
Experience with new product development, portfolio strategy and product launches are preferred
Demonstrated clinical knowledge of medical procedures is preferred
Prior ownership of marketing strategy, team/brand budget and forecast are preferred
Strategic thinking, strong business acumen, and creative problem solving is required
Demonstrated ability to deliver customer-defined business solutions is required
Ability to communicate healthcare solutions is required
Ability to influence across a highly-matrixed organization is preferred
Experience with marketing analytics is preferred
