Senior Lead Program Manager - Portfolio Management Value Realization and Governance -Senior Lead
Reporting to the Service Delivery PMO Director, the Portfolio Management Value Realization and Governance senior lead is responsible for Value Realization Office (VRO) and Governance activities of Service Delivery programs that have broad organizational impact focusing on business transformation. This includes programs related to driving operational excellence, improving customer and employee experiences, and enabling revenue growth.
The Main Responsibilities
Establish best-in-class Value Realization methodologies, standards, processes and tools to achieve optimal quality, consistency and value-added oversight of projects across the enterprise.
Ensure intake and project prioritization include well defined and measurable definition of KPIs, benefits, costs, scope and objectives.
Define Value Realization control and reporting strategy at portfolio and program level
Support project managers to prepare accurate capital budgets, operating expense budgets and forecasts
Contribute to strategic programs planning in alignment with larger organizational objectives
Contribute to IT release planning and prioritization
Establish project budget control guidelines and processes
Contribute to program monitoring and control processes
Effectively communicate Value Realization status and progress with key stakeholders
Ensure PMO governance adoption, raise awareness and promote PMO value proposition to Service Delivery teams
Promote a culture of program delivery excellence and continuous process improvement mindset
Support overall PMO team and activitites to maximize contribution to effectiveness and efficiency
What We Look For in a Candidate
Strong Program/Project Management, PMO Governance and Value Realization experience, with bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and 8+ years related experience
Value Realization and Portfolio Management techniques experience
Experience with technologies and best practices across multiple platforms
Experience driving transformation and optimization across functional areas
Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively, in a constantly changing environment
Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with individuals at all levels
Ability to effectively communicate with executives
Ability to efficiently utilize MS Office Suite of Applications specially Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint
Experience leading complex projects in the technology industry
Experience with the Agile Project Management and LEAN methodology
Completion of formal externally recognized project certification requirements (e.g. PMI, PMP)
PxQ modelling experience
Familiarity with P&L and basic accounting principles
Familiarity with BI solutions
