This position will lead a team driving the evolution of how we process and report our 3rd party partner and Institutional revenue. You will partner cross-functionally with Technical Accounting, Finance, Sales Operations, Channel Partners, Account Managers, and the Digital Fulfillment Team.

This position requires a strong understanding of the full revenue cycle and has a demonstrated path of business process transformation. To be successful in the role, you need the ability to improve and integrate processes, innovate in a fast-paced environment, and work collaboratively and independently. The right individual must be process oriented with a strong emphasis on internal controls. You will need to be a highly motivated and intentional leader who drives success in their team.

What You’ll Do Here:

  • Manage one or more accounting teams responsible for Institutional arrangements and channel partner billings with 5 – 7 team members.

  • Manage strategic and operational initiatives involving cross-functional processes related to revenue

  • Understand institutional contracts and ensures application terms to billings

  • Lead the team to develop reports and metrics measuring the revenue for institutional and third-party revenue channels to support monthly requests from business.

  • Design and launch automation for process and workflows to build internal efficiencies across the team.

  • Review and approve monthly billings for our institutional agreements

  • Design and maintain internal controls around Revenue

  • Work and assist as international grows similar go-to-market products

  • Participate in other duties as needed to meet department objectives and company goal.

Skills You Will Need Here:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required

  • Minimum of 10 years+ of relevant experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in leadership and working with revenue operations and processes.

  • Experience with revenue transactions and accounting guidance (ASC-606)

  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate high-level requests into action.

  • Understanding of Financial analysis and techniques

  • Solid understanding of MS Excel (pivots & lookups & Power Pivot); experience with a BI solution is a plus

  • Quantitatively inclined, results oriented, innovative, adaptable, strong attention to detail, and capable of working independently

  • Strong Communication Skills to effectively collaborate with people across the company

  • Understanding of internal controls

  • Experience with ERP Systems such as Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards or Enterprise One
