Synchrony VP, Digital Creative Production in MARLBOROUGH, Massachusetts

Our Digital Creative team is focused on creating and producing campaigns and content for digital channels. The VP, Production Director is the most senior digital production role within Synchrony’s in-house digital creative team. The Production Director is responsible for all aspects of digital production and execution and will ensure the highest quality output. This position will focus on media creative, strategy, production and delivery; rich media, dynamic (DCO), data-driven creative, creative production, operations strategy, digital design & motion video direction, global digital campaign localization & versioning, ad-servers and ad-tech.
This position is remote, where you have the option to work from home. On occasion we may request for you to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events. We’re proud to offer you choice and flexibility.
Manage an in-house production team with a range of expertise (digital, social, tech, events, AI)
And oversee third party introductions for production/creative.
Integrate seamlessly with key internal teams, ensuring transparency and a data-driven approach to creative production.
Responsible for producing engaging and relevant digital advertising, by connecting the dots between strategy, data, media and creative.
Deliver smart media creative that impacts brand metrics and business outcomes.
Oversee and ensure high quality output and award-winning work.
Manage budgets and ensure financial efficacy of the department.
Raise the profile and appreciation of production work across the business.
Work with the Executive Creative Director on the shape of tech- led creative executions.
Support wider enterprise efforts (leadership, client service and pitch teams).
Partner with other creative team leaders in establishing and delivering against the in-house agency vision and strategy.
Establish best practices for digital design support and execution.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Bachelor’s Degree or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma/GED and 10+ years’ experience in creative business or agency
8+ years of experience managing creatives and/or production unit
2+ years of experience managing/supporting junior staff
4+ leading/supporting social media and digital advertising platforms
MUST PROVIDE ONLINE PORTFOLIO/WORK SAMPLES TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE.
Expert knowledge of all steps required in the creative development process, including providing clear creative direction
Giving timely and helpful coaching to improve creative, production processes and producing all work cost effectively and on schedule
Working knowledge of design, brand development and overall creative process
Able to manage a high volume of projects with constantly changing deadlines
Able to multi-task, prioritize, problem solve and work independently
Proven ability to exercise good judgment and independent discretion regarding projects, initiatives and other company related efforts
Previous management experience including performance management, talent acquisition, mentoring/coaching, process improvement, etc.
Excellent problem-solving, planning and organizational skills
Team player, flexible and fast thinker, especially during critical or stressful times
The ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with your team, managers and clients
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
The ability to work in a logical, systematic manner
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must have at least a “consistently meets expectations” performance rating and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance requirement).

The salary range for this position is 100,000.00 - 200,000.00 USD Annual
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.
