Synchrony Vice President, CareCredit Product Leader in MARLBOROUGH, Massachusetts
This role will be leading the product strategy and digital experience for evaluating and incorporating new financial products into the CareCredit business. The individual will be responsible for working with cross functional leadership to create an integration and product roadmap inclusive of newly acquired Allegro Credit product offerings, SetPay, Buy Now Pay Later and other assets.
This role requires a bold, proven leader with demonstrated ability to drive growth and change across large organizations with cross-functional support. An ideal candidate brings the ability to be an expert and advocate for our providers and cardholders when representing their interests across the CareCredit supporting organizations and digital product teams. This role will require ideating on not what is, but what could be and then communicating and at times selling that vision across the organization.
Develop a point of view and go to market strategy for different financing products, define how they complement each other and how to best position them to providers and consumers.
Lead cross-functional efforts to distinctly position and sell CareCredit and Synchrony capabilities to clients against the competition
Lead, influence and partner across the platform & functional teams to help define the product management and experience go-to-market strategy and oversee the product delivery - including identification, assessment, prioritization and implementation processes
Design & Implement Voice-of-Customer feedback process – aggregate feedback from clients, consumers and internal teams to form recommendations on future capabilities and services
Lead development of sales & delivery strategy for new capabilities within defined product category- partner with product teams to oversee pilot strategy, client selection and launch plans.
Partner with product management and integration teams to manage digital pipeline – work with teams to prioritize necessary activities within respective backlogs
Independently identify bottlenecks, design and implement solutions to speed up execution & delivery of products.
Identify training needs to position front end teams to "sell in" capabilities with clients
Provide regular updates to Senior Leaders and partner with B2B Lifecycle team to develop product marketing strategy and materials.
Build a strong cross-functional network and foster close working relationships with internal stakeholders
Develop dashboard and metrics to communicate progress and channel performance
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Bachelor's Degree or, in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma and 14+ years of marketing experience in the credit card or financial services industries
10+ years Sales or Product Marketing experience to include:
Demonstrated influencing skills with Sr Leaders and cross functionally
Strong custom-facing communications and presentation skills
Proven project or program management experience in cross functional environment
Travel may be required up to 25%
Demonstrated thought leadership – coupled with strong communication skills and ability to help teams connect the dots on new ideas, processes and strategy.
Ability to leverage technology to create new processes and drive efficiency gains
Proven track record of delivering results; must be process and detail oriented, capable of handling large workloads through multi-tasking
Demonstrated strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent influencing and relationship-building skills at multiple levels of organization
Sales or Marketing experience in credit card networks, financial services, or healthcare industry
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must have at least a “consistently meets expectations” performance rating and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance requirement).

The salary range for this position is 100,000.00 - 200,000.00 USD Annual
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.
