This Sr. Manager, Marketing position will be an integral member of our marketing team. He/she will be responsible for managing and driving aggressive revenue growth of a product portfolio in our diagnostics division. The successful candidate will be bring proven experience of developing and successfully executing on-market growth strategies, as well as bringing new products to market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own overall product portfolio performance, including driving growth and achieving revenue targets.

  • Lead the development of strategic and tactical marketing plans, and coordinate efforts of internal cross-functional teams including scientific affairs, medical affairs, and health economics to deliver on those plans

  • Develop positioning and messaging for various audiences including healthcare providers, and laboratories.

  • Partner with internal creative and integrated marketing teams to develop impactful awareness campaigns

  • Manage and lead a team of one or more Product Managers

  • Ensure the team is recognized as a valuable resource for field sales providing relevant sales tools, product expertise, and training

  • Develop and monitor key product performance metrics, and own product line production and financial forecasting

  • Research new market opportunities and develop business cases, justification, and voice-of-customer input for new products or product modifications.

  • Manage and drive all go-to-market activities around new product launches

  • Monitor and communicate market/competitive activity and market trends as well as formulating strategic responses

  • Oversee product lifecycle management and strategy, drive product level changes to address customer needs

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Prior experience in healthcare, medical devices, or clinical diagnostics highly preferred

  • Understanding of clinical diagnostic marketplace, customers, and key external influencers (including reimbursement/payer dynamics, healthcare policy, KOLs, and medical societies)

  • Strong project management and problem solving skills.

  • Able to articulate a plan and manage tasks to achieve stated goals and objectives.

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong analytical skills from both a marketing and financial standpoint.

  • Entrepreneurial attitude and work ethic. Self-starter with a can-do attitude.

  • Strong team-orientation with demonstrated ability to both lead and follow cross-functional teams.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • MBA strongly preferred.


  • 10+ years of prior product management and/or marketing management experience in relevant field required.

  • Prior experience in managing people.

Additional Details

  • Willingness and ability to travel (by land and/or air) up to approximately 25% of the time, including some international travel, is needed.
