Sunovion Senior Manager, Commercial Reporting in Marlborough, Massachusetts
Sunovion Pharmaceuticals is looking for a Senior Manager of Commercial Reporting to join our Commercial Reporting and Management Science team in Marlborough, MA (Currently remote).
This position will report into the Executive Director Management Science and Commercial Reporting.
The Sr Manager of Commercial Reporting team will have primary responsibility for enabling, managing and supporting Data Insight/Reporting solution for Field and Home Office users. The responsibility for this position includes ability to
Gather requirements from multiple business stakeholders and Partners
Advanced Data Analysis on Commercial datasets like IQVIA, Veeva, MDM etc. ensuring timely business decisions
Define Data Processes, Rules and KPIs (including their derivation mechanism)
Help business visualize data, and enable Data to Insights journey for them
Address Business Queries and provide resolution wherever required
Training the business on Reports/dashboards
Help to drive optimal User Adoption of various Reports/dashboards
This position requires very good understanding of Pharma Commercial datasets and reports. This also includes responsibility for visualizing and creating comprehensive reporting across portfolio of products by sourcing, manipulating, analyzing and integrating insights from various cross functional teams. This also includes communication with various internal stakeholders across all levels of management and provide timely, actionable intelligence that influences the strategic business decision making of Sunovion Brand Management and ensure that the evolving external environment is incorporated in strategy development and tactical interventions.
Success in this role is dependent on the candidate being highly proactive. The individual should be comfortable interacting with senior management and working in a fast-paced environment. Excellent analytics and presentation skills are required. High-level critical and strategic thinking is essential for success.
Gather business user requirements from various cross functional teams including sales and marketing and define various key performance indicators by collaborating with various cross functional partners and develop goals and metrics on performance measurement and assist in designing a reporting platform to integrate various insights from these cross functional teams.
Ability to perform analysis on Sales and Marketing data, and provide functional guidance to technical teams
Ability to visualize the data, making data more insightful for field and other home office business users
Communicate the insights to all levels of management
Demonstrate analytical thought process and acumen
Work with cross functional teams such as field, sales and marketing, including the internal analytical partners on Brand Insights, Brand Launch etc.
Work with cross functional partners on targeting, segmentation, sales force alignments and call planning and execution.
Participate in ad-hoc projects by working collaboratively across product teams and other functional departments.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously

Minimum Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required:
B.A or B.S. in Business, engineering, advertising or Science field required.
8+ years of professional work experience and 5+ years in a reporting or analytical role.
Experience with Brand, Sales and Activity reporting including field system solutions like Veeva and reporting solutions such as Tableau, Qlik Sense, Spotfire, MicroStrategy etc. is highly preferred.
Very strong SQL and data manipulation skills to generate analytics and insights.
Knowledge of data warehouse, data architecture and Pharmaceutical data including IQVIA NPA, DDD, Xponent Plan Trak etc. is highly desirable
General knowledge of financial analysis and marketing principles.
Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced, multifunctional team environment.
Strong interpersonal skills required. Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders and partners.
Strong communication and organization skills, team oriented, customer focused and detail oriented.
