What you’ll do
Leads a team of professional marketers to grow the C> business through strategic and downstream marketing initiatives
Effectively leads, develops, and nurtures a high performing team of professional marketers
Sets team priorities and allocates resources to align with business objectives and annual plan
Identifies and solves complex problems leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department
Partners with Strategic Marketing to assess market and customer environments and to discover unmet needs, buying cycles and personas. Identifies customers' clinical and economic needs, values, and desired benefits.
Partners with KOLs to build awareness and identify future product needs.
Develops inputs to support NPI development and product positioning
Ensures marketing plans & execution are optimized to grow orders and share
Coordinates the development of marketing assets and product training materials
Partners with Strategic Marketing to conduct in-depth research to define customer problem statement, success metrics, clinical and economic needs, buying cycles, and personas
Develops thought leadership and promotion strategy in support of demand creation and funnel acceleration activities
Creates assets (including sales tools) to ensure that the commercial organization has the right tools to position and sell product configurations / portfolio effectively
Provides commercial teams product knowledge in product use, differentiation, positioning and pricing
Who you are
Life Sciences Industry/Product acumen. Life Sciences degree a plus.
Minimum 10+ years' experience in marketing, product marketing or related field. MBA a plus.
Prior experience in a leadership role with direct reports
Proven history of developing and driving marketing strategies and tactics
Leadership skills to lead teams and shape/lead growth vision and marketing strategy
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Track record of successful cross-functional collaboration
Strong analytical and process skills
