We are currently seeking a Senior Manager of IT Learning Strategy tolead the development of technical learning strategies for our rapidly transforming global IT organization. This critical role will be the learning architect responsible for envisioning, defining and implementing global technical learning strategies and solutions for our team of 1400 IT learners. She/he will develop a roadmap for learning solutions which delivers against defined learning capability- building objectives. The manager will develop evaluation and measurement tools to ensure appropriate impact and effectiveness of programs and will substantiate the learning ROI to Senior IT leaders.


  • Develop a learning strategy which encompasses all functional areas of a rapidly transforming, global technology organization

  • Design and scale comprehensive plans with high level inputs then translate plans into a pragmatic, executable multi-year learning roadmap

  • Identify technical learning needs through assessment/needs analysis, deep technical development expertise, and collaboration with functional leaders and Human Resources partners

  • Utilize proven knowledge of vendor landscape, best practices, tools and technology to research and evaluate options to support training strategy and shorten defined skills gaps.

  • Manage external vendor relationships and internal collaborations with Learning and Talent Management Centers of Expertise

  • Work with IT Communities of Practice to understand, develop, and curate best practices and approaches to support the learning experience

  • Act as central point of contact for ongoing technical training plans and personal development classes for IT Associates

Skills/ Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in related field

  • 7-10 years’ experience developing large scale learning strategies and programs with a focus on technical skills development

  • Practical knowledge and hands-on experience with a broad range of infrastructure, databases, middleware, and integration technologies, methodologies, best practices, processes and procedures. Experience supporting Agile, Dev Ops and Cloud environments strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of ITIL, Service Management

  • Developed analytical and critical thinking abilities

  • Continuous learner with up to date knowledge of current and emerging technology and learning trends as well as a strong vendor network, Oracle University a plus

  • Knowledge of adult learning processes, instructional design techniques, and evaluation methodologies

  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to prioritize and execute strategic initiatives

  • Comfortable working in a rapid change, growth environment

  • Ability to work collaboratively internally and externally to resolve complex issues and develop innovative solutions

  • Exceptional communication skills; ability to quickly build relationships and influence at all levels

  • Recognizable executive presence and confidence
