We have an immediate opening for a strong, hands-onProduct Managerto join our Supply Chain Solution Delivery team. In this role, you will partner with Architecture and Business Stakeholders to determine the optimum release strategy for our global Manhattan WMoS product implementation including new features, architecture, and allocations for technical debt. You will partner with the business across multiple levels to ensure their needs are incorporated into the backlog. You will alsoact as the internal Voice of the Customer for the ART (Agile Release Train) or scrum teams and work with customers and Product Owners (PO) to constantly understand and communicate needs and participate in the validation of the proposed solutions. This role will require significant experience with Manhattan Associates WMoS application along with project management and leadership skills within a highly complex IT environment.
Works with Epic Owners to develop the business case for Epics that affect their ART or scrum teams
Develops & communicates the program vision and roadmap for medium to complex ARTs/or PODs
Ensures there are enough ready features in the backlog at all times and that these are fit for purpose
Develops feature acceptance criteria that can be used to establish that a feature meets its definition of done (DoD)
Participates in PI Planning – presents the vision, highlighting the proposed features of the solution
Works with Epic Owners to help deconstruct Epics into Program/ART Epics and Features and prioritize them in the Backlog
Translates business needs into user stories that Teams can develop into finished deliverables
Works directly with product management, business sponsors, key stakeholders and agile scrum team(s) to ensure the solution meets the product vision and business objectives
Extremely effective communicator of ongoing risks, scope trade-offs, and timeline impacts to stakeholders to ensure alignment
Remains effective under stress, and responds to pressure in a manner acceptable to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others in a team-oriented culture
Previous experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or similar knowledge of eliciting business requirements is required
Works effectively with others; establishing and maintaining good working relationships
Developed working knowledge of project/product management concepts desired, along with an understanding of how enterprise software products are positioned and developed
Adept at translating business needs into user stories that Teams can develop into completed deliverables
Manhattan Associates WMoS systems experience required
8+ years of relevant experience in an agile delivery framework, strategy or requirement development or Product Owner role
Proven ability to cultivate and manage strong partnerships with business stakeholders and IT partners at multiple levels
Relevant undergraduate BA, BS degree in IT or Business or equivalent experience
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) preferred
