What you'll do

The Manager of Digital Marketing Information Architecture will be part of a multi-disciplinary digital marketing and e-commerce team tasked with building a website that presents information to our customers in the most useful way possible.

The Manager of Digital Marketing Information Architect will have a significant impact on our business as they own and lead the architectural direction for the next-generation customer journey experience. You will be making a broad portfolio of almost 40k products meaningful and accessible to a varied audience of customers with differing needs. You will collaborate with marketing, product managers, support, and other digital team members to produce a well-formed information system platform that informs, engages and converts customers. You have the experience to architect content against critical user journeys and have deep experience measuring content performance, turning raw data into actionable insights. You’re a customer evangelist who understands informational needs in the Life Sciences industry and possess great empathy for all aspects of the customer journey.

  • Define the LS Hub information architecture, site navigation, owning IA on content-driven site experiences for Cytiva customer facing web properties

  • Using a data-first approach - Identify user requirements, conducting research, analyzing user’s needs, preference and working method on content needs and consumption. Conduct website audits, primary behavioral datasets, competitor analysis, and customer research to inform content data strategy

  • Work with the Marcom Content strategy leader ideating, building and helping achieve content data tagging strategies that give machine learning context for 1-1 personalization

  • Performing IA activities such as content audits, resulting in content inventories, sitemaps, sketches to communicate website organization

  • Co-Developing user journeys, personas, and performance metrics to clarify content goals with the Marcom and marketing organization

  • Develop ability to diagnose IA usability issues, measure the impact of any issues and communicate issue priority and extent to technology partners

  • Implement IA that categorizes content across all phases of the user journey, from awareness and consideration through to post-sale support, and spanning across the digital hub

  • Develop measurement strategies that allow reporting which customers belong to which personas and where they currently exist in the user journey that can be actioned by marketing and/or commercial entities

  • Facilitates and develops organization knowledge by tracking latest innovations or research regarding web design and usability, working closely with UX team; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations

  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to the digital hub via increased customer engagement and conversions

  • Understanding of database and schema –(organizational structure, outline or framework of a scheme of data), a range of basic understanding should suffice with willingness to learn and get fluent in this critical aspect

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple priorities

  • Digitally fluent, willing & able to learn new software platforms

  • Ability to work independently (self-starter) as well as in a team environment

  • Personalization experience and/or exposure

  • Digital & Ecommerce experience

  • Leading information architecture and site structure analysis

  • An understanding of web systems like CMS, PIM, DAM.
