DuPont Litho within the DuPont Electronics & Industrial Business has a Product Manager opening in Marlborough, MA. As Product manager you will be responsible for supporting new product development efforts as well as existing product stewardship for Litho’s Marlborough based portfolio.

Your key responsibilities will be/what you’ll do:

New Product Development Management:

  • Interface with Product Development Teams (R&D, Eng, EHS, Quality, Manufacturing) to provide commercial input (customer requirements, cost targets, demand, timing etc.) and execute other commercial PDP activities.

  • Establish costing models for new product introductions.

  • Review / approve sample requests in appropriate database. Follow up to ensure timely delivery.

  • Manage product availability during product scale-up to support more extensive customer sampling, testing and qualification.

  • Support Marketing Segment Managers globally in promotional and sales training activities.

  • Establish relevant marketing packages for different stages of the product development cycle.

  • Prepare Stage Gate documents and represent business case at gate meetings.

Existing Product Maintenance:

  • Manage lifecycle of existing product lines.

  • Determine business need for continuous improvement, product consolidation and/or obsolescence.

  • Set priority for all CIP activities in a product line.

  • Manage profitability of new and existing product lines. Validate / revise standard cost for existing products based on plant costing models (labor rates vs tank time, overhead allocations etc.)

  • Work with Engineering and Manufacturing to identify cost savings opportunities, e.g. raw material cost reductions, manufacturing efficiencies etc…

  • Provide Marketing input (current and future business needs) to support Demand /Supply Planning, Asset Utilization, Manufacturing Footprint Optimization, and resource investment.

  • Support Marketing Segment Managers in promotional and sales training activities.

  • Provide marketing support to product stewardship team for periodic product risk review.

Interaction:

Product Manager will interact on a frequent basis with the following roles:

  • Sales Managers

  • Research and Development (R&D)

  • Design / Development Engineering (DE)

  • Quality

  • Integrated Operations (Supply Chain / Manufacturing)

  • Customers as required

  • PSR team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Technical related field) is required

  • Prefer minimum 5 years+ of experience in Lithography business.

  • Litho product / process knowledge

  • Demonstrated decisive leadership

  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills

  • Creative, analytical and problem-solving minded

  • Must be detail oriented, motivated and able to meet deadlines

  • Ability to work cross-functionally to achieve results

  • Experience using SAP/BW Reports is a plus
