What you’ll do

  • Leads a team of professional product managers to grow the Global Services business through strategic and field-effective product management initiatives

  • Effectively leads, develops, and nurtures a high performing team of professional product managers

  • Sets team priorities, KPIs and allocates resources to align with business objectives and annual plan

  • Identifies and solves complex customer and services sales challenges by designing, rolling out and winning with new services offerings

  • Drive a broad set of services offerings & solutions: hardware product services coverage plans (maintenance, support & upgrades), education (services and usage training products), networking services (IoT connectivity, networking, alarming systems), professional services (GMP (re-)qualifications & validaton, relocation…)

  • Partners with Strategic Marketing to assess market and customer environments and to discover unmet needs, buying cycles and personas. Identifies customers' scientific and economic needs, values, and desired benefits.

  • Partners with key customers to build awareness and identify future product needs.

  • Develops services strategy (serviceability, service sell-ability) and product positioning (including price setting) for Cytiva Hardware and Software NPD (New Product Development) programs & products. Work in partnership with product BUs including R&D teams

  • Ensures marketing plans & product management execution are optimized to grow orders, revenue share and profitability (including price getting) in the regions. Support field teams with training and consultancy

  • Maintain a permanent feedback look (including win/loss analysis) with the regions to optimize services product portfolio performance

  • Develops thought leadership and promotion strategy in support of demand creation and funnel acceleration activities

  • Creates assets (product articles and sales tools such as configurator or commercial metric reporting tools) to ensure that the commercial organization has the right tools to position and sell product / portfolio effectively

  • Provides commercial teams product knowledge in product use, differentiation, positioning, and pricing

  • Drive price strategy and execution for the Global Services business: competitive data collection, win/loss price drivers, smart price setting for spare parts (based on usage and type), value-based pricing for contracts and solutions, price attainment accountability (including operational reviews with the regions)

  • Drive commercial excellence processes and operations: funnel management, contract capture at point of Hardware sales, channel partners framework, commercial “bowler” performance charts

Who you are

  • Life Sciences Industry/Product acumen. Life Sciences degree a plus.

  • Minimum 15+ years' experience in marketing, product management or related field. MBA a plus.

  • Prior experience in a leadership role with direct reports

  • Proven history of developing and driving product strategies and tactics. Services product a plus.

  • Leadership skills to lead teams and shape/lead growth vision and marketing strategy

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills

  • Track record of successful cross-functional collaboration

  • Strong analytical and process skills
