Cardinal Health Project Manager Strategic Commercialization in Mansfield, Massachusetts

Accountabilities

This position will be responsible for managing large-scale, strategic commercialization programs with multi-functional & global core teams. This position will include the planning of all project activities, synchronization of Core Team efforts and management of the overall project schedule, resource requirements, and project budget and progress reporting to senior leadership. The Program Manager is responsible for assisting with developing program objectives from a business case and driving program execution while ensuring compliance to internal and external customer requirements.

Qualifications: (preferred)

  • Bachelors degree in related field required. Advanced Degree, MBA desired
  • PMP Certification a plus
  • A minimum of 4+ years related work experience
  • Experience working in a regulated environment desired (medical, automotive, government)
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of business systems (marketing, selling, inventory management, distribution management, legal contracts)
  • Strong understanding of business case development and financial analysis
  • Expert-level Microsoft Project
  • Understanding and evidence of employing standard project management tools and approaches:

  • Scope development and management (guardrail identification)

  • Schedule development/management (critical path focused)

  • Resource prioritization and management to ensure efficient management of the critical path
  • Risk identification, management and implementation of corrective actions
  • Manage projects via a stage-gate process

  • Strong influence, facilitation, and problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated strong planning and organizational skill
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Experience presenting project status updates to senior leadership

  • Be a key resource in helping with managing priorities and escalation of project risks/issues

  • Travel approximately 15%. (Domestic and International)

What Engineering Prgrm/Project Mgmt contributes to Cardinal Health

Program/Project Management is responsible for managing the execution of programs and/or projects consisting of single or multiple projects and/or programs. May manage project and/or program managers within assigned program and/or project. Works within the constraints of budget, schedule and scope while managing risk and ensuring adherence to established processes and methodologies.
