A Day in the Life

The Product Manager will be expected to assist with the development and execution of marketing plans and initiatives to drive revenue for the Renal Care Solutions product portfolio within the US Region. This individual will support portfolio expansion and market development activities in both the chronic and acute therapy space, while also collaborating closely with the current field-based organization and global marketing team. Primary responsibility will be executing on strategic programs to drive the adoption of Medtronics Pediatric CRRT device and consumables, as well as upstream activity for chronic therapies.

This is a Sr. Product Specialis level. This position can be worked remotely from anywhere in the US.

The Product Manager is responsible for:

Executing the tactical plan for marketing strategies and programs, both short-and long-term, to ensurethe sales and margin performance goals of the business are achieved.

Assisting in the development of pricing and product positioning strategies to optimize revenue, marketshare and profitability.

Providing market insights through a strong working knowledge of the portfolio, market trends,competitive behavior, customer segments and reimbursement landscape.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and promote various products and programs.

Identifying new program or service growth opportunities and preparing business plans to gain internalsupport and resources.Developing and conducting product presentations, using a variety of mediums, to most effectivelyposition the sales force for success.

Establishing and maintaining relationships with industry influencers and strategic partners

.Regular report-outs to management with insights and recommended actions required to exceedfinancial commitments

.Developing partnerships with broader Medtronic marketing and functional teams in support of theobjectives identified by the Renal Care Solutions division.

Leading digital marketing and demand generation activities for the access maintenance portfolio.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required

  • Minimum of 4 years of medical sales and/or marketing experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience

Nice to Have

  • MBA

  • Strong upstream marketing skills for assessing customer needs use-cases while having the ability to incorporate this information in detailed direction for the greater organization

  • Experience in collaborating with intensive care and nephrology call points to drive clinical practice

  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, independent, driven individual to meet objectives.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize while managing multiple projects and day to day responsibilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfort presenting to internal and external audiences.

  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.

  • Must be able to travel 30% of the time, which may include some nights and weekends.
