What Specialty Marketing contributes to Cardinal Health

The Clinical Engagement Product/Marketing Manager role is a newly created position within the US Compression marketing team. This role will be crucial with ensuring synergy between sales and marketing activities to generate maximum impact with Compression campaigns; driving both customer satisfaction, product sales, brand reputation and healthcare partnerships through the common objective of eliminating Hospital Acquired-Venous Thromboembolism (HA-VTE). This role will report to the Regional Marketing Director, US – Compression.

Accountabilities in this role

  • Drive revenue growth through the development and execution of the marketing and educational strategic plans
  • Develop and implement educational programs and content to create ongoing access opportunities for the national sales team, while fostering development of healthcare partnerships around HA-VTE
  • Lead required projects in the development of digital platforms and content for the Compression business to drive sales leads and engagement with health care professionals through all stages of the decision-making process
  • Expand digital presence for the Cardinal Health Compression products to make product and educational content readily accessible to healthcare professionals
  • Develop robust tracking tools designed for monitoring educational activity performances through participation rate, customer satisfaction and customer conversion, to define a ROI for each major program
  • Identification of process gaps, unaddressed healthcare professional needs and changing market/competitive trends, to create new opportunities for partnership in the drive to reduce HA-VTE
  • Create a strong pool of national KOLs from various specialties and differing healthcare backgrounds (Nursing, Surgeon, Physician, Quality, etc.) mixing historical and newly identified KOLs to provide meaningful expertise that can be leveraged in a variety of ways to support initiatives
  • Lead the development and updates of marketing product collateral through rebranding efforts with internal business partners
  • Lead the onboard process for product training with new sales team members while developing ongoing advanced training programs for more experienced staff
  • Establish strong relationships with cross functional business units to ensure the necessary resources are available and initiatives can be executive within the required timeframe
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs in building strategic partnerships with targeted Industry Associations which are relevant for execution of marketing strategic initiatives through a win-win collaboration and level of investment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Nursing or a related field required; Master’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of nursing education, marketing or relevant sales experience required
  • Experience with navigating hospital hierarchy/processes and proven ability to develop relationships with KOLs at all levels of hospital systems
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal and written
  • High competency level with Microsoft office platforms
  • Ability to influence cross-functionally
  • Ability to travel, including on weekends and evenings. Approximately 30 - 50% travel required (dependent on location of successful candidate)
