Job Description Summary

The Product Line Strategy Manager directs and leads strategy development as it relates to Product Line needs and owns and/or partners in the execution with the broader Sourcing organization. Negotiates with dedicated providers according to specific policies. Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction. Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may influence work.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership in the development and translation of the Sourcing strategy into Product Line impact.

  • Work closely with Sourcing commodity partners to build restructuring pipeline.

  • Collaborate with customer facing organizations, providing insights on upcoming cost impacts.

  • Optimize deal structures to build sustainable productivity Integrate long-range engine and spares forecasts into Sourcing strategy.

  • Collaborate with customer facing organizations, providing insights on upcoming cost impacts.

  • Monitor process, analyze data, and recommend business strategies to minimize business total cost that are aligned to customer needs.

  • Partner in commercialization of technology road maps to meet next generation technologies.

  • Create and own operating rhythms to align the Product Lines and Sourcing organization Synthesizing Sourcing requirements from the Product Lines.

  • Developing trade-off studies with impact analysis Leadership of direct team, as well as indirect cross-functional leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, strategy, or customer facing operations
