Role Summary:

This role serves as the Communications Leader for GE Aviation's Combustion & Structural Components Value Stream and will will partner with Value Stream and site leaders to develop and implement a communications strategy to engage key stakeholders and support the achievement of business objectives.

Essential Responsibilities:

In addition, as the Communications Leader, you will:

  • Partner with business leadership to ensure successful internal communications to ensure key stakeholders are well-informed to help achieve business objectives

  • Ensure employee engagement and strong connectivity to business strategy

  • Analyze and design an improved communications strategy to recommend new channels, methods and ideas to improve employment engagement

  • Advises leaders regarding projects, processes and procedures requiring communications

  • Partners with Aviation communications team to accomplish key priorities including culture, strategy and change management efforts

  • Communication with direct colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex problems

  • Demonstrates awareness & sensitivity to cultural differences and global norms within the organizational context of the role

  • Contributes to project as a team member or leads small projects

  • Provide ad hoc support on external communications Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Communications)

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Internal / Employee Communications ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT :
