The Kronos Corporate Communications team is growing. In this newly created position, we’re seeking an inspired public relations manager with dynamic writing skills who can drive our content creation. The ideal candidate will have a track record of delivering creative, compelling, and topical news-driven content and play a key role in heightening awareness for our company and award-winning culture, industry-leading products, and the business issues that Kronos solves.
•Act as the Kronos public relations team’s de facto news reporter, owning the creation and delivery of contributed articles, bylines, op-eds, customer stories, and other assignments
•Develop and manage editorial calendar, driving a proactive PR content strategy that maximizes earned contributed content opportunities
•Collaborate closely with customer reference and industry marketing teams to capture and communicate customer case studies and success stories internally and externally
•Elevate the profile of Kronos, our products, and culture even further through the development of high-quality award submissions
•Position Kronos executives, subject matter experts, and customers as HCM thought leaders by securing national and industry conference keynotes and presentations
•Leveraging existing Kronos social media and online platforms such as LinkedIn, the What Works blog, and The Workforce Institute at Kronos, work with Kronos social media and marketing teams to design and implement an executive blogging program
•Provide critical support to our industry think-tank, The Workforce Institute at Kronos, through the creation of research briefs and white papers for all research projects conducted by the Institute each year
•Proactively maintain a variety of external-facing communication assets, including executive biographies, company fact sheets, and digital press kit
•Track metrics regarding success of PR content program
•5+ years of experience required, preferably with a mix of public relations and corporate communications experience; experience with SaaS solutions or HR software preferred
•Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or related field required
•Positive track record creating high-impact media relations campaigns that leverage contributed/written content
•Creative thinker with impeccable writing skills; please submit multiple links to recent content published within the last 12 months when applying
•Demonstrated success securing meaningful awards and speaker placements
•Strong oral and presentation skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a high attention to detail
