Director – Americas Industrial Sales

Renesas is seeking a Sales Director to drive engagement with Global Strategic Industrial Accounts in the Americas. This role is a leadership position and will have primary responsibility to manage and grow our strategic industrial accounts headquartered in the Americas.

This person will focus on developing and implementing strategies to grow Renesas’ largest Tier 1 Industrial accounts in the Americas. Working closely with the sales, sales operations, business unit and marketing teams to position Renesas products and promotions that drive mind share and sales growth at all global customer sites. Influence all levels including key executives to put in strategic initiatives and gain commitments that support the growth of Renesas sales in the industrial market.

The Role :

  • Reporting to the WW Sr. Director of Sales for Global Industrial Accounts. Leading a team focused on the Americas but coordinating with sales resources globally in the same team to drive revenue and design in.

  • Build strong relationships and all executive levels at our customers to advance Renesas’ visibility and position to gain mind and market share.

  • Champion Renesas’s world class MCU/MPU, Analog and Power solutions and Winning Combinations to rapidly increase our share in the mass market.

  • Responsible for creating and driving plans and metrics for revenue growth, demand creation and product promotion that enable corporate goals of outgrowing the market by 2x

  • Work with the worldwide business units to develop next generation solutions for the industrial market

  • Partners closely with Sales Operations and Marketing to plan and drive product promotion, stocking levels, pricing

Requirements:

  • BS/MS EE or CS required.

  • Leadership skills are a must. Ability to organize and motivate cross functional teams across internal and external organizations. Transform business practices that drive tangible results in design in and revenue growth

  • Strong technical background

  • Proven track record in managing distribution sales, strong preference for direct experience at broad line semiconductor provider

  • 10+ years direct experience in semiconductor sales and/or marketing
