Kronos is seeking a Director of Marketing for our Retail and Hospitality business. This is a wide-ranging and critical role that will require broad knowledge of Retail and Hospitality, Enterprise Software and Workforce Management. The leader will be expected to have field level understanding of the market through frequent interaction with customers, prospects, and a collection of industry influencers. Functionally the role resides in marketing and therefore carries with it traditional Industry Marketing related responsibilities such as message development and market evangelism. Independent thinkers with a bias for action are well-suited for the role.


•Responsible for working with other functional leaders to drive significant growth and will lead a small, highly capable team in this effort

•Work with other functional leaders to evolve and execute the industry go-to-market strategy

•Based on a deep understanding of the market’s business needs and Kronos’ product and services capabilities, evolve and/or create the industry message for Kronos

•Develop and execute strategies to drive market awareness

•Develop and execute strategies to drive consideration

•Employ mathematical or statistical skills to visualize marketing data, identify strategy, and drive efforts

•Work with sales leadership to develop and execute sales enablement strategies

•Establish Kronos as a thought leader in the industry

•Serve as the key industry spokesperson to the press, analysts and other external influencers


•Bachelor’s degree is required with an MBA or Masters preferred

•Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a Strategic Marketing leadership role

•Demonstrated ability to translate statistics and numbers into meaningful visualization and narrative

•Demonstrated success in creating and implementing practical marketing strategies to promote corporate growth

•Exceptional public speaking, writing, and messaging skills


•Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Software and/or Workforce Management

•3+ years of strategic consulting
