Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Creative Director to serve as a creative leader for the refreshed Watson Health brand. The Creative Director will work in close partnership with the Brand Strategy Leader to advance the modern expression of the new brand across all touch points- building into an iconic brand that is mission-led and emotionally connective. This professional will help expand the influence and impact of the brand team, and strengthen executional excellence across all touch points, digital and physical. While contributing to our overall vision for the advancement of the brand through design, this professional will also personally lead multiple strategic design projects and work streams that are both practical and progressive in nature. This work requires expertise and experience in managing brand identity, visual and verbal expression, concept creation, environments, exhibitions, communications, experiences, etc.

  • Steward the brand guidelines, including visual expression, events, experiences, templates, artifacts, documents and more, in order to enable our colleagues internally and externally to represent our brand to the highest possible standards

  • Serve as the point of contact for of brand identity. This includes fielding requests, providing feedback and critiques and guiding other creative partners to uphold the brand.

  • Be a strong advocate and expert in the business strategy, and counsel others in how to design experiences that deliver on the strategy

  • Enforce a management system that fuels associated branding adherence

  • Collaborate, influence and manage through expertise and knowledge of design

  • Generate new ideas continually, while keeping an eye on establishing and maintaining the standards of the brand

  • Be accountable for the overall success of design projects and experiences measured in specific business outcomes, such as new client acquisition/adoption of a service

This individual must excel at:

  • Visual design, identity, storytelling, branding and flawless execution

  • Communicating and interfacing with stakeholders about design concepts, principles, criteria and guidelines

  • Collaborating with other design leaders and practitioners to push the limits and look beyond the day-to-day, while working within constraints

  • Taking ownership for teams and work-from conception to production-ensuring innovative work, best practices, and standards of quality

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 8+ years art direction and creative leadership experience

  • Extensive experience leading design, production, and agency partner teams

  • Adobe Creative Suite (Highly proficient)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Applications: Sketch, Principle, , MS Office, Keynote, Cinema 4D, GitHub
