The Sterility Product Manager will have full product portfolio ownership of RMB’s upcoming Sterility application for its flagship Growth Direct platform including hardware, consumables, software, and implementation services. The candidate will make an immediate impact managing all upstream and downstream elements of initial launch phase activities to drive initial adoption of this strategically important new application offering.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Vigorously leads strategic planning for new products and new market opportunities through activities such as:
Market sizing and segmentation
Voice of Customer (VOC) outreach; focus groups, surveys, usability assessments
Passionately owns product development from initiation through launch through the product lifecycle including leadership through the product commercialization process to create strategy, business case, Voice of Customer (VOC), User Requirements, applications planning and review, go-to-market plans, and post-launch metrics review.
Works directly with internal stakeholders and customers to define user requirements and develop expertise in user workflows.
Establish customer-facing communication related to the product families.
Owns supply and demand forecasting, working closely with operations to drive production and fulfillment of customer orders.
Develop cross-functional partnerships across the organization to ensure sales success and operational fulfillment of our high-quality products.
Support overall company leadership and activities, including specific program and product leadership.
Advance internal projects for continued enhancement and expansion of our offerings.
Manage P&L for the designated product families.
Other duties as assigned by manager.
Bachelor’s degree. MBA preferred.
Must have minimum 3 years in product management.
Must have experience in biotech or life science industry. Microbiology QC industry experience strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of global pharmacopeias and other applicable regulatory guidance.
Experience defining pricing strategies for hardware, consumables and validation products and services.
Understanding and experience in developing business cases and leading new market entry.
Proven track record of defining and executing VOC activities directly with customers; experience communicating directly and regularly with customer users.
High level of intensity and success in driving actions to completion, with a view to metrics including timeline and budget.
Demonstrated oral & written communications and interpersonal skills, including strong customer orientation.
