LogicBio is seeking a highly motivated individual to join us as our Head of Investor Relations. This role will be responsible for ensuring the company is appropriately and strategically positioned with analysts, investors, and all relevant stakeholders. The successful candidate will provide leadership and coordination of LogicBio’s investor relations activities. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is responsible for creating the strategy, framework, and tactics, as well a robust investor relations roadmap. The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage relationships outside the company in the equity research and investor community.
Develop a targeted investor relations strategy and framework and drive implementation of that strategy to maximize the company’s long-term value creation and ensure consistency of that strategy in presentations and messaging.
Provide leadership in development of communication programs directed to financial stakeholders and align consistent and clear communication between internal and external parties.
Prepare company press releases, investor call scripts and corporate presentations and partner with Finance and Legal on SEC filings
Co-chair the company’s disclosure committee
Schedule investor conferences, non-deal roadshows and analyst/investor meetings
Maintain relationships and consistent dialogue with buy-side and sell-side community
Investor targeting for corporate access events and financing transactions
Provide insights on market activity and present them to the leadership team including analyzing and presenting financial trends, competitor behavior, shareholder issues, and anything else that could impact the business
Maintain active investor/analyst database of interactions
Bachelor’s degree required
5+ years of experience dealing with investors and a strong track record of creating positive relations with the investor community and Equity Research Analysts
4+ years in biotech or pharma Investor Relations preferred
Superior written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to draft engaging and impactful messages for inspiring employees and investors
Deep knowledge and understanding of the capital markets, as well as a thorough understanding of key metrics for companies in the industry
Well versed in financial modeling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors
Strong understanding of macroeconomics, capital markets trends, competitor activities, industry dynamics, and customer trends
Strong understanding of the U.S. securities laws
