Laurel Ridge Senior Living Residence Administrative Assistant in Lanesboro, Massachusetts

Laurel Ridge has a part-time position available for an Administrative Assistant to support the Executive Director and business office. The ideal candidate would have the ability to work cooperatively with the Executive Director. staff, family members and residence. The Administrative Assistant will perform a wide range of clerical and administrative duties. This position requires proficiency in computer technology, general office duties, knowledge of and experience with word processing, Excel, email correspondence, editing and proofreading skills are essential. Requirements: ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks, excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, attention to detail, professionalism, a positive attitude and the ability to communicate with staff, residents and the public with integrity, clarity and understanding and the ability to accept and implement feedback. Duties and responsibilities: - Serve as a point of contact through telephone and email - Monitor entry and exit of building visitors - Maintain residence records and filing systems - Maintain and operate standard office equipment - Maintain company data systems, and prepare and maintain state and federal requirements/reports - Maintain, update, and participate in residence records and emergency planning - Support residential staff with special projects and general office duties - Ability to carry out basic bookkeeping and/or accounting tasks - Perform other relevant duties and projects as assigned by the Executive Director Job Requirements: - Candidates must have a valid driver\'s license - Candidates should have a minimum of two years\' experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience. HS diploma required - One to two years of successful experience in an administrative related field - Successful CORI/SORI and fingerprint check - Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite and general computer knowledge - Ability to multitask and be a self-starter - Ability to provide a safe and welcoming environment for residents and families, along with a positive work environment for staff - Candidate will be responsible for the handling of all medical and staff records according to confidentiality codes and regulations.
