Transportation Lot Supervisor Supervisor: 1 year (Required) Job Type: Full-time 8hr shift Expected Hours: 35 - 45 per week Shift Availability: Day Shift (Required) Night Shift (Preferred) Pay: From \$19.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Ability to Commute/Relocate: - Indian Orchard, MA 01151: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Position Summary: We are seeking an organized and motivated Transportation Lot Supervisor to oversee our fleet of vehicles and coordinate with drivers and monitors to ensure the smooth operation of our transportation services. The Transportation Lot Supervisor will be responsible for managing the lot, ensuring vehicle readiness, and supervising lot personnel. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining safety standards and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate drivers to ensure timely transportation of clients. - Supervise lot personnel. - Oversee daily vehicle inspections and ensure all vehicles are properly maintained and ready for use. - Manage vehicle assignments and ensure all routes are appropriately covered. - Conduct safety checks and enforce adherence to all company policies and safety regulations. - Maintain clear communication with dispatch, drivers, and other team members regarding schedule changes, delays, and vehicle issues. - Assist with training new drivers on safety protocols and company procedures. - Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, maintenance schedules, and driver assignments. - Assist drivers with loading and securing mobility aids such as wheelchairs and car seats when needed. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in logistics or transportation management preferred. - Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record. - Must be 21 years of age or older. - Prior supervisory experience, preferably in transportation or logistics. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Physical ability to assist drivers and monitors as needed, including moving mobility aids. - Must pass a background investigation, including CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information), SORI (Sex Offender Registry Information), and RMV (Registry of Motor Vehicles) checks. - Must pass a physical examination and drug test.
