Social Media & Marketing Specialist - Purpose of Position: In partnership with Marketing Communications leadership, manage the daily needs for all Cape Cod Healthcare social media platforms & lead content analytics for social & various digital media. Position will also play a key role in the execution & measurement of strategic marketing campaigns. Description: Develop, execute & manage an organic social media strategy that aligns with CCHC strategic goals & brand voice Execute social tactics for campaigns & initiatives as outlined in Communications Plans Manage the optimization of social media channels & br& journalism news hub (Cape Cod Health News) to increase engagement & improve overall metrics Perform day-to-day brand monitoring via social listening & reputation management of all assigned channels & be the on-call support lead for all social media needs in urgent/timely situations Research & experiment with new & alternative digital tools, leveraging marketing technology in an effort to increase brand reach & achieve overall objectives & goals As the social media subject expert, develop a rich understanding of the role social media provides in the healthcare communications landscape. Provide appropriate & timely counsel to educate key internal stakeholders (such as clinical service line leaders) about the unique benefits & best practices of social media outreach. Synthesize social data into insightful reporting Employ strong copywriting designed for social brand voice & facilitate nimble execution of duties from start to finish. Build & manage a strategic social editorial calendar, incorporating paid social tactics as needed. Create video & photography content for digital platforms As a part of the full Marketing Communications team, contribute to additional department initiatives, including content proofing & preparation of Cape Cod Health News tasks, as needed Qualifications: High school/GED required. Associate?s or bachelor?s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field preferred 3+ years of social media management & marketing experience preferred Experience in writing & editing, particularly focused on reworking existing content to align with social best practices. Proficiency with AP style preferred. Strong project management, communication, organization & analytical skills with a strong focus on attention to detail Ability to be flexible & precise under aggressive deadlines Strong knowledge in top social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, & LinkedIn Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, social media management/analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite) & Google marketing properties (e.g., Google Trends, Google Analytics) Familiarity with graphic design platforms (e.g., photoshop, Canva) preferred Schedule Details: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, occ. weekends & holidays. Occ. monitoring of socials on evenings & weekends.
