Overview

Education Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Experience
Direct Care in a Human Service Setting as well as supervisory/management experience
Other Qualifications
Knowledge of community and services available for referral
Excellent Organizational Skills
Must be able to communicate (written and oral) effectively in English
Must be able to use Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Principal Functions
Responsible for the management, implementation and coordination of programming & workshops
Duties and Responsibilities
Work with Corps Officers to maintain and increase volunteer base
Develop a thorough understanding of community needs and resources
Implement a system of ongoing In-Kind donations
Operate and maintain programs within Annual Budget
Promote collaboration with other community human service agencies
Determine, implement and oversee appropriate additional programming
Conduct initial assessment of prospective clients, determining present and underlying needs
Coordinate casework services for clients and families, referring them to Salvation Army programs and services, as well as appropriate community based services
Maintain statistics of program utilization
Perform other related duties
