What you’ll achieve

As a Product Manager, you will identify new growth areas, technologies and emerging product/service opportunities. You will conduct in-depth market analysis to optimize existing products/solutions and build next generation products, partnering closely with the cross functional teams to build a product road map and align product strategies for the business.

You will:

  • Collaborate with Business stakeholders and Engineering to define strategy, vision and direction for DataIQ, PowerScales Monitoring and Alerting platform

  • Lead GTM and in-market activities

  • Present strategic product communications across multiple stakeholder organizations

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive DataIQ product launches and schedules starting from the Business Contract (BC) stage of the development process through Ready to Ship (RTS) for a successful worldwide launch.

  • Manage and support DataIQ through the entire product lifecycle and make decisions regarding enhancements throughout the lifecycle until End of Life (EOL).

  • Directly interact with cross-functional teams

  • Lead business case development for enhancements or new product recommendations

  • Lead requirements gathering and prioritization

Essential Requirements

  • A good understanding of Storage monitoring and troubleshooting requirements

  • Ability to define user personas, use cases, requirements, and acceptance criteria

  • A passion for defining world class usability and serviceability requirements that delight customers, drive down TCO and simplify storage management

  • Be passionate about the user experience

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • At least 12 years’ experience in Product Management or equivalent experience with an understanding of one or more of the following areas: Unstructured Storage, Storage Monitoring/Troubleshooting, Data Management

  • A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or Technology or equivalent experience

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with Dell EMC PowerScale/Isilon or other scale out NAS platforms

  • Previous work defining system monitoring and troubleshooting requirements

  • Ability to travel about 10 - 15% of the time (when it is deemed safe to do so)
