Senior Product manager (APEX Offerings – Cybersecurity)- Remote, US
Security is the top priority for APEX. As a Product Manager on our APEX Offerings team, you will be responsible for leading strategy, planning, and delivery for advancing Cybersecurity for our as-a-Service offers. You will partner with various product engineering, sales, and delivery organizations internally as well as partners and customers externally.
Join us as a Consultant on our Product Management team to help customers make the shift from traditional IT to infrastructure and platforms as a service with APEX.
What you’ll achieve
As a Product Management Consultant, you will identify new growth areas, technologies and emerging product/service opportunities with a focus on cybersecurity. You will conduct in-depth market analysis to optimize existing offerings and build next generation services that are compliant with various governmental or industry-related security regulations and requirements. You will partner closely with Engineering, Product Management, Security/Privacy, Sales and Marketing to set our product roadmap and strategy and ultimately keep our customers safe from advanced cyberattacks.
Work with customers, partners and SMEs in privacy, security, and compliance to research and define security features for our offers, aligned with key cloud security trends and/or certifications
Complete market analysis and business cases to influence our strategy and establish priorities in our agile planning process
Develop the vision, roadmaps, and plans with executive management and stakeholders to drive the Cybersecurity strategy of our offers
Author requirements and manage backlog for security features
Lead the entire product life cycle, prototyping and testing new features and changes to our product and processes
Partner with product marketing to bring new features to market with sales enablement and customer collateral

Business and entrepreneurial acumen with strategic and critical thinking
Strong technical acumen with a history of building/delivering enterprise products
Strong written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership, participating in the sales cycle, and handling sensitive customer escalations
Experience in writing product and customer requirements and using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize decision-making
Experience coordinating efforts with Architects, Product Owners, and Scrum teams to scope, plan, and deploy new feature sets
Understanding of Cybersecurity controls and compliance standards for IT products and services
5+ years of experience in technical Product Management and/or Cybersecurity
Familiarity with Public Cloud Services, Kubernetes and Containers, Virtualized Compute, and Data Storage products and services
Understanding of security concepts, methods, and protocols for managed IT services or IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings
CISM, CISSP/CCSP, COMPTIA Security + certifications
Experience with compliance frameworks (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST, SOC2, ISO27001, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI or similar)
Experience working across security, privacy, and compliance and legal domains
Experience with Agile development methodologies
