Description:

As a Product Management Senior Consultant in the Data Management Incubation team you will join an agile, fast-paced environment where innovative thinking is prized. Our team focuses on the delivery of products for Data Management services for various customers segments and stakeholders. We lead and deliver the entire lifecycle from conceptualization and product definition through to production and release. We also oversee continuous integration of modifications and upgrades of the data management product line.

What you’ll achieve

Taking a customer driven approach, you will help conceptualize, develop, and productize our Data Analytics offerings working closely with technical and business stakeholders at all levels. You will join an influential team driving Dell’s transformation by enabling its’ customers to uncover and capitalize on their diverse, dynamic, and distributed data sources. This role includes synthesizing a breadth of data including customer research, telemetry, usability testing, market analysis, business trends and financial analysis to optimize customer outcomes and product success. This team partners closely with sales, engineering, and service delivery teams to align product strategies and works with other product managers to develop and communicate our cross-portfolio strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with services product managers to stress test, refine, and mature their strategies.

  • Develop and deliver technical content for senior internal and external audiences including business stakeholders, analysts, and reviewers.

  • Define clear product scope and detailed user stories that align customer needs with outcomes.

  • Define comprehensive persona-based behaviors, workflows and user stories under an agile engineering and iterative development methodology.

  • Define launch and go-to-market plans in conjunction with product marketing and communications teams.

Essential Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience in product management and/or development in the data analytics domain. You will have technical domain expertise in relevant areas such as analytics toolsets. model development, AI/ML, data processing, visualization, programming and statistical analysis with a deep understanding of the data scientist and analyst personas and customer use cases that are unique to a data management platform.

  • 15+ years of related experience.

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field required.

  • Previous work experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst or Data Engineer; and/or prior work experience at a data analytics or AI/ML company.

  • Deep understanding of the Data analytics processes and tools.

  • General knowledge across Data Management Stacks – Catalog, Metadata management, Semantic layers, Data Virtualization, Data Ingestion, Streaming, Data Processing, Visualization and Marketplaces.

  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
