You will partner across teams to incubate growth categories and solutions, bringing them to life for our customers in-store, online and through marketing. Innovation & Strategy:
Partner with Strategy and Insights teams to understand customer needs; ideate and incubate new products/solutions that support innovation in working and learning
Lead development of innovative breakthrough marketing plans that communicate relevant, customer-centric solutions to target customers both in-store and on staplesconnect.com. Partner with our Go-To-Market activation team to ensure alignment with overarching Retail commercial plan.
Drive multi-channel creative development with creative agency
Evaluate success and make recommendations for continuous improvement

Essential skills and experience:
BA/BS, Masters preferred
8+ years relevant experience
Experience in Brand Marketing, Category Marketing, Retail Marketing; Experience launching new products in Retail environment a plus
Demonstrated success developing cutting-edge marketing plans that embrace traditional and emerging tactics
Preferred skills and experience:
Ability to be strategic, and also ability to manage/execute tactical plans
Passion for innovation and transformation
Expertise in working across functions and levels, strong communicator (written, oral)
