Staples Recruitment Marketing and Social Media Specialist (Remote) in Framingham, Massachusetts
Compensation Range : $62,000 - $82,000 DOE
In this role, you’ll utilize recruitment marketing tools to promote the value of working at Staples to help attract top talent to join our team. You will be driving qualified candidate leads to apply through social engagement, brand awareness, events, and marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will bring experience with end-to-end email marketing campaigns, a gift for storytelling, and an ability to reach and effectively engage the right audience through our social channels and partnerships. We are looking for someone who has the drive of a sales leader and the creativity of a marketer. This role is a balance of strategic and executional. You will think through channels, messaging and website design while also rolling up your sleeves to execute campaigns, programs, and events.

What you will be doing:
Generate applications for Staples open roles
Evaluate & identify tactics and optimal channels that will be most effective in reaching specified audiences
Managing social media content development, publishing, engagement, and reporting
Career website design and enhancements
Oversight of programmatic marketing initiatives
Utilize social media platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) to reach candidate pools, engage them, and grow our follower base
Develop social media strategies and messaging for multiple talent pools
Partner with and project manage internal and external resources on deliverables such as the design and creation of signs, banners, radio ads, and digital assets
Utilize CRM functionality and email marketing for lead nurturing and generating a pipeline of qualified applicants
Support hiring events and manage resume books
Help the talent acquisition team (through training and knowledge sharing) to understand social media best practices and how they can use content to attract top talent
Drive Staples brand awareness through our diversity partnerships
Track, measure, and report on campaign results and provide recommendations for improvement
What you bring to the table:
Excellent writing skills with the ability to create compelling content for use in social messaging, emails, and visual assets
An ability to analyze data to improve the performance of our efforts over time.
You’re curious, resourceful, a self-starter, a creative problem solver, an effective communicator, an organized project manager and a team player
Experience organizing campaigns and events to build brand awareness and generate qualified leads
You know how to communicate the value proposition of working at our company through authentic messaging
Social media expertise, knowing how to attract followers and keep them engaged
What’s needed- Basic Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, content marketing, or design
1-2 years of experience in writing or copyediting
Knowledge of social media and associated publishing tools
Experience with email platforms, CRM systems or marketing automation software
What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing or Communications preferred
Understanding of programmatic marketing
Knowledge of and experience with Phenom People is a plus
