Staples Program Manager, Online Marketing in Framingham, Massachusetts

The Program Manager, Online Marketing is responsible for supporting and executing marketing objectives, strategies, key metrics and plans across StaplesAdvantage.com. This person will partner with marketing professionals in working cross-functionally with analytics, creative agency, digital marketing, ecommerce, category marketing and segment marketing. This person will also partner on managing all marketing performance reporting and customer analytics.

In addition, the Program Manager, Online Marketing will support Staples Personalization initiative with execution of in-market testing across touchpoints. This may include partnering with external agencies, analytics, email, digital media, sales, segment marketing, etc.

The ideal candidate is an experienced, results-oriented marketing professional with the ability to drive flawless execution, data-driven and is customer centric. This role requires successful partnership across various departments and levels and being a team-oriented participant in working closely with their direct manager. Lastly, this candidate should be nimble and able to action in a changing environment as we look to constantly improve and evolve our online customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead,implement and support homepage transformation project

  • Managehomepage asset creative testing

  • Manage andmaintain timelines for all projects and deliverables - often tighttimelines and business critical

  • Manage execution of weekly and seasonalplans with goal of increasing profitable online sales

  • Participate in cross-functional teams acrossanalytics, onsite creative agency, digital marketing, etc.

  • Be the day-to-day point of contact for all online marketing effortsin partnership with direct manager

  • Along with team associates measure theeffectiveness of all initiatives and continuously strive to improveresults

  • Support Personalization team withdeveloping in-market test strategies and identifying solutions forimplementation, overall project management

  • Partner with the creative agency andmanage content development for in-market personalization tests

  • With team members,partner to test-and-learn on an on-going basis

  • Actively work withother marketing partners to help enable personalization with site and allother areas of the customer experience

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree

ProfessionalKnowledge/Experience

  • 4-6 years of marketing experience

  • Previous experience in online and/or retail a plus

  • Proactive self-directed individual with proven ability to managemultiple projects, balancing strategy with day to day execution

  • Ability to both influence and collaborate with others, adjustingquickly to changing priorities, aggressive timelines and multipleobjectives

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Demonstrated analytical skills, may be responsible for obtainingdata, running reports and making recommendations from analysis

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Omniture and Google Analytics

  • Experience managing creative agencies and vendors a plus
