What will you do? The Membership Operations Program Manager will focus on identifying, testing and implementing strategies to grow and retain business customers in our membership programs. You will be partnering with teams across the company including marketing, sales, SDS, analytics, finance, pricing and many more to uncover problems and use an analytical mind to find solutions across SBA and .Com.
The overarching mandate of the Membership Operations Program Manager is to play a key role in our Go To Market strategy supporting both our SBA and .Com membership programs as we re-organize our sales teams and ladder our programs. Intellectual curiosity and high comfort with the data and results is essential. This role ensures that executed program and process elements are working as expected and are having meaningful impact on the program and its customers. In other words, you need to ensure things are working as expected, bring them up if they aren’t and help fix them where needed.
Use internal and external quantitative and qualitative data to establish project plans that align with Staples Go To Market Strategy
Lead initiatives to align .Com & SBA programs, from a sales, analytics, benefits and pricing standpoint
Outline, communicate and facilitate entire scope of projects with key deliverables, due dates, resources and dependencies; manage the project plan
Create and test new ideas to drive acquisition, sales and customer retention in our business membership programs
Balance time, resource and quality constraints to achieve business objectives
Create, enhance, run and distribute reporting with an eye towards automation
Perform ad hoc analysis to understand situations and make recommendations on changes to marketing, ecommerce and sales efforts
Proactively identify and rectify inconsistencies within varied reporting on subscription programIdentify and implement opportunities to automate operational aspects and enhance program offering
Facilitate working sessions with sales and other parts of the organization for ideation and program improvement
Cultivate networks with people across a variety of business units and locations within Staples
Facilitate the effective interaction and contribution of co-workers and external partners.
Invite and build upon the ideas and input of others.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
3-5 years supporting a sales organization or working in a fast-paced project orientated role
Strong excel/analytical skills: high proficiency using Excel
Relate to people in an open, friendly and accepting manner
SFDC, SQL, PowerBI knowledge preferred
Membership Strategy and/or Customer Engagement experience
Experience in managing multiple projects
Strong PowerPoint skills
Ability to adapt to a changing environment
Highly organized with an ability to simplify complicated ideas, processes or plans
