Staples Program Manager Loyalty Marketing in Framingham, Massachusetts

Description

Staples is focused on our customers and our community. As a Program Manager Loyalty Marketing , you will be responsible for owning the operations of the Staples Rewards program. This includes overseeing the day-to-day planning and execution of the operations of the Rewards program including ongoing tactics and programs, develop plans and presentation materials, communicate with business partners, resolve issues and report on results. You will independently manage projects while getting exposure to a variety of vehicles and functions within the company. This role will have one direct report supporting Rewards, focusing on statements, and category specific Rewards back promotions paid out in statements.

Key Deliverables:

  • Responsible for leading cross functional marketing projects from beginning to implementation, driving optimal customer experience

  • Work with internal partners to make sure they have the tools they need to succeed in promoting the Rewards program and answering questions, including job aids, procedures, WebEx presentations and meetings, etc

  • Partner with technical & systems teams ensuring high impacting issues reported by internal partners are handled swiftly, and communication and resolution are clear

  • Create and maintaining direct mail, as well as signage marketing, in partnership with creative agency, print vendor, and internal teams

  • Work with analytic team on reporting needs and share key data points with internal partners

  • Find efficiencies in procedures and processes

  • Test and innovate new marketing approaches to Rewards in effort to drive sales growth and traffic

Qualifications

Essential skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5-7 years of marketing or account services experience

  • 2-3 years management experience

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated analytical skills. May be responsible for obtaining data, running reports and making recommendations from analysis

  • Experience negotiating with/managing agencies and/or vendors

  • Loyalty or Rewards marketing experience is a plus
