Staples Merchandising Operations Manager, Retail Promotional Activity in Framingham, Massachusetts
The Merchandising Operations Manager of Retail (brick and mortar) Promotions is responsible for driving the promotions strategy of the retail business based on data driven decisions and collaboration with Merchants, Marketing, Inventory, and Pricing. This person is responsible for establishing performance guardrails and leading the process for the weekly production of newspaper circulars and online marketing assets associated with this promotional activity.
This role requires strong project management skills, data driven insights, collaboration, and business acumen to achieve success. This person will facilitate the process via weekly cross functional meetings of peers and senior associates.

Projectmanage execution of Staples retail promotions including data processing,working with cross functional partners, and ensuring deadlines are met.
Executethe existing process, but also recommend and roll-out streamliningopportunities.

- Leadweekly meetings with as many as 20 stakeholders.
- Responsiblefor executing promotional analytics and optimization in the short term throughlong term
Education/Experience Equivalent (minimum requirements)
- Bachelor’sdegree, Masters preferred
- 5 to 8 yearswork experience
Problemsolving and analytical skills
Effectivecollaboration skills & communication with senior level
Priorretail experience preferred
Proficientin PowerPoint and Excel
