Staples Manager, Business Programs Reporting & Strategy in Framingham, Massachusetts

You will be part of a fast-paced, cross-functional team responsible for delivering a world class and innovative customer experience across multiple channels including web, mobile, tablet, social integration as well as various marketing touch points.
The Manager will also be responsible for ownership of the weekly business review to include managing partner relationships, gathering/preparing data, facilitation of meetings, follow-on ad-hoc analysis and project management for all reporting enhancements. They will also be responsible for developing scalable reporting & analytical solutions across the digital business by leveraging the existing suite of available tools and through partnerships with the greater business, transforming ad-hoc reporting to scalable solutions. This role requires an excellent collaborator, communicator, and analyst with hands-on data experience. The successful candidate is a problem solver in a fast-moving and highly diverse environment and will be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and timeliness are not compromised. In addition to strong analytical skills, they must be adept at communicating with senior leadership in both verbal and presentation formats.

Management of the weekly business review and other high profile initiatives.
Ability to produce and streamline regular weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting (complete with key insights and recommendations). Recommend additional “deep dive” analytics as appropriate.
Work closely with and effectively communicate with all key business stakeholders across the organization: Product Management, Merchandising, Marketing and Finance, Pricing and Sales.
Drive incremental sales and margin through improved reporting /processes as well as new initiatives to achieve financial targets in 2018.
Partner with various stake holders within eCommerce / Merchandising to continuously improve the internal and external processes and tools to include all reporting and user Dashboards.
Perform value added ad-hoc analysis/reporting in support of the business unit objectives and initiatives.
Responsible for preparing analysis as well as presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Business or other related field.
5+ years of analytics, modeling or reporting experience
Demonstrated strong proficiency at an advanced level in Microsoft Excel (Excel w/ Macro’s, Access) and PowerPoint.
Hands on experience with SQL and Tableau development.
Knowledge of various data mining techniques and effective visualizations.
Strong strategic, analytical and critical thinking skills; strong bias towards data-based decision making with the ability to break down complex problems and formulate plans
Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities with demonstrated track record of strong execution and experience partnering with technical teams to deliver results
Strong Project Management skills coupled with interpersonal and presentation ability with demonstrated experience in fact based analysis, including the ability to persuasively present insights and recommendations to senior management.
Master’s degree or MBA Preferred
Ability to pick up new systems and software quickly a must.
SAS, Alteryx or other data mining and statistical software knowledge added advantage
Pro-active and self-motivated work style with proven ability to collaborate broadly with flexible, positive attitude to get results within a cross-functional team.
