The Investor Relations Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Investor Relations function at TJX. Reporting to the Vice President, Investor Relations, will assist the team in preparing for investor and management interactions, earnings calls, and press releases, as well as provide data collection and analytical support for internal and external reporting, and logistical support for events.
Investor Relations Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the quarterly earnings press release process including:
Assisting with Q&A / speaking points
Working with BP&A / Finance to verify all numbers within the press release/script/Q&A
Create IR binder of essential financial schedules and tables
Coordinate supporting materials for internal use and the website
Responsible for logistics for investor meetings, targeting trips, conferences, and investor luncheons including scheduling, preparation of cheat sheets and investor bios, and delivery of investor materials to management
Monitor sell-side coverage and First Call consensus estimates and review for accuracy; work with BP&A to analyze peer research and earnings materials
Analyze shareholder activity and the productivity of investor targeting trips and meetings
Responsible for the drafting and review process of dividend press releases and earnings date announcement press releases
Attend investor meetings and conference calls, manage logistics of earnings conference call
Monitor/update Investors section of the corporate website, update investor presentations and handouts for investor meetings
Assist with department’s communications to Board of Directors by providing share ownership data and analyst research reports, support other Global Communications activities as needed, respond to requests from other departments for public information/reports,
Manage department budget and invoices, as well as the Annual Report process and s pecial projects as assigned
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in finance, economics, or business preferred, or equivalent job experience
• Ability to work with Multi levels to include senior level, s trong financial acumen
• Attention to detail, flexible, adaptable, hands on and able to work in demanding, fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and writing skills, as well as, ability to work independently, and with the team as needed
6 month to 3 years of investor relations, finance, or corporate communications experience For example: Investor Relations Analyst, Investor Relations Associate, Investor Relations Senior Analyst, Financial Analyst, Senior Financial Analyst
Hybrid position with willingness to work in corporate office as needed.
