This is a remote position.

Major Responsibilities

  • Identify new markets and applications that the Echo MS system, an ultra-high throughput solution, and other SCIEX technologies can uniquely serve

  • Develop the value proposition, positioning, go-to-market strategy, and collaborative relationships for the target segments

  • Build business cases for new product development aligned to unique business opportunities

  • Acquire voice of the customer, identify target prospects, and guide supporting content and collateral required to drive demand in target markets

  • Partner with the technical applications, cross-functional teams, and commercial partners

  • Design, implement and track marketing and lead-generation programs that enable the attainment of sales goals

  • Drive improved new and existing customers' engagement, and the expansion of the SCIEX brand

Required Skills & Experience

  • BS or equivalent degree, advanced degree in life sciences or related field a plus, and minimum of 7 years overall experience in a commercial role in the analytical sciences industry

  • Experience working across a range of life science industries (Clinical Diagnostics, Pharma/CRO, Academia, Industrial, Environmental, Food and Beverage)

  • Experience managing projects from inception to completion, including leading to a forecast achievement timeline

  • Conduct direct marketing campaigns to achieve landmarks through strong leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams

  • Effective interpersonal skills both written and verbal, with proven track record to influence, work, and communicate effectively with peers

  • Adept at using Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and experience with Salesforce.com customer resource management a plus

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and driven to achieve short and long-term business goals and targets
