What you’ll be doing:
The role of the Associate Manager, Digital Merchandising is to support the Digital Business team in delivering a best-in-class digital experience. The position will be responsible for supporting the building and executing of cross-functional roadmaps onsite recommendations and personalization programs on Staples.com & Staples Advantage. This role will partner closely with the Digital CX and Site Merchandising teams, Product and SDS teams, and Analytics teams.
Leverage personalization and recommendation tools to create onsite experiences that drive conversion and increase spend
Maintain and improve algorithms that power onsite recommendations
Work cross-functionally with other professionals such as Product Managers, Developers, Analytics and Merchants
Leverage analytics to understand customer behavior and impact to business
Responsible for delivering user-friendly web elements and improving on key pages throughout the purchase funnel across both Staples.com & Staples Advantage
Work cross-functionally to understand customer and business needs and align recommendations strategy accordingly
Ensure consistent, high-quality service by developing and maintaining dedicated, strong relationships with primary customers of the team
Pursue cutting edge strategies and partner with vendors as needed to maintain competitive landscape
Works directly with vendors, developers and product managers to maintain cutting edge product

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications
3-5 years of experience within eCommerce or site merchandising
Ability to leverage data to make data driven recommendations and provide program insights
Experience with content management or AI tools
Some knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices and techniques
What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS in business, marketing or similar relevant field
