Emerald is seeking an Account Manager to support the build and launch of our newest B2B digital media and event brand - M2X. The M2X Technology Network is an entrepreneurial initiative comprised of websites and live events that deliver industry-specific marketing insights to marketing professionals at technology companies including software, AV & IT manufacturers, distributors and marketing agencies.

This new role will be responsible for building strong advertiser and sponsor relationships with marketing contacts at martech companies throughoutthe US. Alongside significant revenue responsibility, the M2X sales representative will also enjoy strong opportunities for long-term growth with this cutting-edge brand.

The M2X Account Manager will need to be strongly self-directed and self-motivated, and will need to embrace and enjoy the challenges of building a new product from the ground up. This highly cross-functional position will also require solid communication and collaboration skills to effectively work across Emerald's existing business units, as well as an agile learning style to rapidly learn new technologies and product updates.

This position has the flexibility to be based in either Framingham, MA or Hasbrouck Heights, NJ.

  • Prospect, consult with, and close long-term advertising deals with media buyers, ad agencies, and directly with martech companies

  • Leverage strong foundation of leads and contacts to meet monthly and yearly quotas

  • Develop ongoing sales prospecting process to develop a constant flow of new customers

  • Coordinate with cross-brand sales team that also sells into the martech industry

  • Work collaboratively with marketing to define and evolve the go-to-market message and materials

  • 5+ years B2B sales experience, preferably within the martech industry

  • Deep understanding of digital-related industries and topics, including social media and digital advertising

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Self-starter who can work both independently and in a team environment

  • Travel as needed to customer sites and events

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred


Target Compensation: $75,000-95,000/ANNUAL (Commission eligible)
