Summary: The T&D Corporate Coordinator will contribute to the Training & Development department in the review and execution of various corporate training and development programs. Program review includes creative thinking, online research, and delivering proposals. Execution includes tasks such as scheduling, ordering food and supplies, preparing materials, setting up training space, attending and/or facilitating events and coordination of agenda.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Participating and assisting in the process of developing and maintaining corporate development programs
Provide feedback and insight on programs, facilitators, activities, and more as they relate to the effectiveness of training and development at Blount Fine Foods
Work cooperatively with various departments in the organization to efficiently and effectively promote and facilitate training
Communicate content to colleagues through effective facilitation of various trainings
Aid T&D Program Manager by co-facilitating training to maximize impact
Create accurate, informative program handbooks and reference materials
Research and recommend training courses, facilitators, organizations, and equipment
Provide updates and reports to upper management on progress of programs
Creates needs assessments and various surveys
Collects, analyzes data and makes business recommendations
Creates dashboards for accurate and concise reporting of program progress, with varying levels of detail for appropriate audience
Coordinate logistics of events, including attendee tracking, agenda execution, presentation and materials support, and pre- and post- evaluations
Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employee work behavior and company culture
Critically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure effectiveness and impact
Shares thoughts and ideas openly; contributes to innovative and growth-focused culture
Engage colleagues and promote programs via Blount's Workplace Page
Stay abreast of the new trends and tools in training and development
Build and maintain SharePoint sites and Pages for effective communication and knowledge management
Resolves complex scheduling for interviews of selective programs
Communicates program plan and impact to employees at all levels of the organization
Process all events, training, or meeting requests such as room set-up, catering needs, audio visual device requirements
Develop or process the production and preparation of handouts, instructional materials, aids, and handbooks
Assist with the oversight of budget tracking/transactions
Coordinate calendars and agendas for events, trainings, and meetings
Attends meetings, takes notes, and distributes meeting minutes
Creates various charts and forms and types documents for others as requested
Keep updated records and create reports or proposals Other responsibilities with similar skill, work conditions, and responsibilities as assigned.
Assist with Training & Development standardization amongst the sites
Acts as a resource and support to all locations to ensure consistent and successful implementation of current and new programs.
Works directly with staff within manufacturing environment; supporting T&D programs, while continuously developing and mentoring employees with a continuous improvement mentality.
Works with Training & Development Manager to identify and commit to development needs based on process, staff, and/or business factors.
Assist in the creation, implementation and updating of required training programs.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university; or two – to three- years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
Ability to make connections and articulate ideas
Comfort with public speaking
