Summary – Don’t just join the Blount Fine Foods team, build it! This person will be an individual contributor who will play a key role as a brand ambassador as you bring exceptional senior leader talent to Blount, in support of helping Blount to realize enduring growth for the next 75 years. You will be a full-cycle recruiter, lead and develop all executive recruitment efforts, and represent Blount in the business community while building our employer brand.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other responsibilities w/ similar skill and work conditions as assigned.

  • Partner with the CEO, EVP, and Exec Team to fill key roles that will drive the future growth of Blount Fine Foods

  • Partner with Exec Team to understand business strategies and organizational plans; Lead the team to ensure deep understanding of the business need and shape an effective search strategy

  • Drive proactive pipelining to prioritize and build a network of future leaders for Blount across all functions of the business. Create a database of future candidates accessible to the team

  • Assess and recommend high quality diverse leaders who share our mission and values, role model our leadership expectations, are likely to succeed based on the position specification, and demonstrate potential to grow beyond the current role

  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience; go the extra mile to make candidates feel seen and cared for and facilitate an experience that exemplifies our mission, values, and culture in parody with our brand. Expand and standardize Blount’s in-depth interviewing and profiling process.

  • Remain current on industry trends, leverage expertise and external network of subject matter experts and peers and seek frequent stakeholder feedback to drive improvements to our executive recruiting approach and practices. Participate in industry groups where applicable

  • Communicate regularly to business stakeholders, negotiating and agreeing on priorities, sequencing, and expected timing of open roles and pipelining work

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university

  • 5-10+ years progressive experience in end-to-end talent acquisition, executive recruiting, and/or search agency: search strategy, sourcing, networking, talent screening, process facilitation, offer negotiation, and closing; experience in talent management and/or consulting preferred but not required

  • Capability to communicate, craft and deliver presentations at an executive level

  • 5+ years of experience advising and influencing executive leadership

  • Can effectively communicate with a wide variety of audiences and all levels of an organization, including C-level
