ENCORE BOSTON HARBOR Sound and Video Technician in Everett, Massachusetts

The Encore Boston Harbor Sound & Video Technician is responsible for the maintaining assigned Music, Page and Visual Entertainment systems across the property. The Technician will carry out daily sound and video operations across the property, including restaurants, public areas and elevators and sound systems, and guest room media content. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: maintaining all Encore Standards; and providing excellent service to guests and team members. Follows all applicable internal policies, federal and state laws, rules, regulations and controls. Contributes to effective property-wide communication. Provides professional internal and external guest service, which may require levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy. Balances multiple priorities simultaneously and meets deadlines, often in stressful and high-pressure situations. Updates and maintains assigned Music, Page and Visual Entertainment systems across the property. Updates and implements sound and video media as requested by area managers. Responds to operations managers requests. Works with safety as a priority, and follows department and company safety standards. Maintains relevant knowledge of industry through continuing education and training. Performs any other job-related duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job responsibility satisfactorily. Will be required to obtain and maintain registration or a license issued by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission. Education and/or Experience: High school degree or equivalent required. Bachelor?s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred. 1 year of sound and video experience preferred. Requires general computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. Candidate must have experience with planning and project management. Must possess outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, as well as excellent attention to detail. Working knowledge in all areas of audio communications, video display systems, MATV, High Definition and Video Projection equipment preferred. Programming knowledge of Sound Web, Media Matrix, Crestron and AMX control systems preferred.
