Craft Brewers Guild of Everett, MA, a proud member of the Sheehan Family Companies, is the leading craft beer distributor in the state.

We are seeking a Social Media and Sales Support Coordinator to assist in the planning of Events, POS management, Social Media content and Admin Sales duties.

Objective: To assist in driving sales by managing events, sourcing events and through updates and enhancement of content on company owned Social Media outlets to increase awareness of represented brands in designated market areas to increase company revenue.

Responsibilities:

Events

  • Coordinate all promotional events, beer festivals, concerts, sporting events, etc.

  • Source/solicit/seek out new event opportunities to promote our brands

  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure their products are well represented at designated events

  • Enhance Craft Mass’s presence in Boston by attending events

  • Collection of A/R for all special events

POS

  • Manage accurate inventory of Point of Sale merchandise.

  • Accurately prepare and organize all outgoing Point of Sale merchandise for delivery.

  • Check-in and put away all Point of Sale merchandise.

  • Communicate all new Point of Sale materials to the sales team.

  • Assist with training new sales team members on proper procedures for requesting Point of Sale merchandise and event planning.

  • Other duties as assigned by Manager.

Social Media / Company website

  • Create and maintain content on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter feeds for designated market areas

  • Daily posting of upcoming events, new releases, articles and rewards for our products

  • Stay current with our supplier social media sites and share news as it relates to our company

  • Interact with suppliers to gain product knowledge

  • Monitor retailer and consumer accounts to benefit the sales force

  • Consistently interact with sales management team to create alignment with brand strategies and priorities

  • Create and execute programs to grow our followers

  • Track monthly traffic and consumer interactions with various social media sites using resources such as Facebook analytics

  • Monitor consumer feedback email account and reply/forward requests to appropriate internal personnel

ADMIN

  • New item entry

  • IPAD (setup, audit, troubleshoot)

  • Backup for Customer service rep

  • Responsible for Roundtable Communication/Execution

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with an English, Hospitality Management, public relations, communications, marketing concentration or relevant field preferred

  • Passion for craft beverages

  • Experience in sales and or marketing sales

  • Proven experience as social media and events coordinator

  • Proven track record of organizing successful events

  • Experience in the areas of online/web copy writing, retail marketing and Social Media resources

  • Excellent computer and organizational skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Attention to detail with excellent research, organizing, writing, editing and proofing skills

  • Ability to successfully prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines

  • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability

  • Able to handle stress and remain calm

  • Cicerone Beer Server certification required, Certified Cicerone preferred

Critical Physical Demands:

  • Sufficient manual dexterity to operate business equipment including, but not limited to, computer, telephone, adding machine

  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver 163 lb kegs safely and with proper body mechanics is required

This is an hourly full-time position.

Full time employees are eligible for medical/dental/visions/prescription benefits (no premium/no deductible plan). Eligible for 401(k) after one year with a company match and profit sharing plan. Paid vacation and sick time after one year. Opportunities for advancement within.
