Union Beer Corporate MA Brand/Key Account Manager - Spirits in Everett, Massachusetts

We are looking for an energetic, passionate and independent individual to join our Corporate Staff Team and work as the MA Brand/Key Account Manager for Spirits in the Corporate Sales Team.

OBJECTIVE: To facilitate and foster effective supplier partner relationships across the SFC distributors in the state of Massachusetts while working with SFC employees to implement strategies, pricing and procedures to ensure growth within the wine and spirits portfolio. In conjunction with developing these strategies, this individual will be directly responsible for execution across a network of key accounts in the market place to further develop and grow our wine & spirits business.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Liaise with suppliers to develop annual sales and marketing plans

  • Alignment on marketing plans, programs and pricing for the state of MA

  • Track, measure and report on sales and marketing plans

  • Stay within CPC budgets assigned in internal budget system

  • Work closely with inventory managers on brand forecasting, SKU maintenance, new item authorization, SKU divestment, post off, tactical pricing issues, and inventory flow.

  • Manage supplier launches, retailer events and production facility visits

  • Manage all product knowledge training for the state

  • Participate in the development of sales programming strategies

  • Assist with all efforts related to marketing in regards to sales sheets, social media, and newsletters

  • Ride with supplier reps in the trade, visiting accounts and maintaining relationships with buyers

  • Keep up to date on and ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws

  • Manage and develop relationships with regional key account buyers and district managers in assigned geography through time spent in trade

  • Interface with Sales Managers and sales teams responsible with positioning our products with national/regional key accounts

  • Work with the Corporate Brand Managers to develop and execute strategies for achieving annual sales and volume growth in assigned geography

  • Travel to regional key account sites, sales territories and meetings as required

  • Develop rapport with assigned customer base and promote the good will of the Companies

  • Possess the management skills to work independently throughout the markets

  • Execute quarterly goals as related to sales objectives

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills

  • +5 years’ experience in the spirits industry

  • Valid and clean driver's license with active auto insurance

  • Ability and willingness to work independently

  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
